Rueda

Lying on the Duero River just south of Valladolid, Rueda has become one of Spain's best white wine producing regions. Its light, fruity, dry whites can be made from blends of Veredejo, which is native to the area, and Viura (aka Macabeo), or as a varietal with the imported Sauvignon Blanc.
