Rias Baixas
Rias Baixas has a strong claim to being Spain's most important white wine producing region, and the native Alberino the country's most important white wine grape. Albarino loves the cool, wet weather of Galicia in Spain's northwest corner, and it can produce eveything from light and crisp to full bodied, barrel-fermented whites. Rias Baixas wines take their character from proximity to the Atlantic, and they are likewise at their best accompanying seafood.
