McLaren Vale

Just a short drive south of Adelaide and nestled between the sea and the Mount Lofty Ranges, McLaren Vale is among Australia's oldest wine regions. Full bodied reds are the name of the game here, with Grenache, Shiraz and Cabernet Sauvignon the main players. McLaren Vale boasts a lot of old vines, planted up to a century ago.
