Grenache

Grenache is a very versatile wine, commonly used in various red blends. Typically, on the nose you'll get red berries like strawberry and raspberry. They also have spicy flavors of clove, and herbaceous flavours like lavender. They have a tendency to be gamey and medium-bodied; perfect with lots of food. Originating from Spain, they naturally go well with tapas and other spicy foods.
