Few would dispute that, in terms of prestige, Barolo sits at the top the hierarchy of Italian wines. In the hills around the villages of Barolo, La Morra, Castiglione Falletto, Serrralunga D'Alba. Monforte D'Alba and a handful of others, the Nebbiolo grape reaches its zenith, producing rich, intense, long-lived red wines. Marquis always carries a wide selection of Barolos, including some available nowhere else in British Columbia.
